Abstract

The author comments on a study published within the issue which quantified air pollution exposure disparities by race/ethnicity and income throughout the entire contiguous U.S. for six criteria air pollutants, during the period 1990 to 2010. Topics covered include the strengths of the study, such as having numerous sensitivity analyses and comparisons, the study's comprehensive geographic, temporal, and multi-pollutant scale, and the challenges that the study has failed to address.
