Abstract

The article features Underground Railroad conductor Harriet Tubman (born Araminta Ross) and how she helped African American freedom seekers from the slave states of the U.S. Southern region to travel safely into Canada in the 19th century. She war born in 1822 from enslaved parents Ben Ross and Harriet 'Rit' Green. Also cited is how Tubman joined a group of white and African American abolitionists and the racial discrimination experienced by freedom seekers. INSET: RESTORING MOSES' CHURCH.
