Abstract
- The present study is motivated by the work of Abouelmagd et al. (Int J Geom Methods Mod Phys 18(4):21500055, 2020), that it is generalized by considering the effect of small perturbations in the Coriolis and centrifugal forces on the location and stability of the equilibrium points in the Robe's restricted three-body problem. The problem possesses a pair of collinear equilibrium points and an infinite number of non-collinear equilibrium points. All of the resulting equilibrium points are subjected to a linear stability study. It has been observed that the locations and stability are guaranteed to be influenced by the perturbations in the Coriolis and centrifugal forces. Furthermore, a numerical study has been carried out to observe how the perturbing parameters affect the position and stability of the equilibrium points. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
