Abstract

This article presents information on developments in the field of law. The activity of each trade association is so closely adapted to the particular needs of its industry that generalization and comparison are difficult. Among the most common activities are the recommendation of standard contract forms and uniform cost-accounting procedures adapted to the needs of the particular industry. The inadequacies and uncertainties of commercial law have created a need for agreement of the parties on specific contractual terms.
