The paper begins with a philosophical, literary and historiographical framework to address issues of epistemological interest. After the comparison between the schools of thought that have discussed the theme of memory and identity, the second part of this work deepens the operational and methodological expendability of the concepts analysed, starting from the sociological reading of Paul Ricoeur, considered within the personalist current to which he belongs.
