Abstract
- The presence of Pipistrellus kuhlii and Eptesicus serotinus is documented for the first time in the archipelago of Cabrera. The inventory of bats for these islands consists of six species: Pipistrellus kuhlii, Hypsugo savii, Eptesicus serotinus, Plecotus austriacus, Miniopterus schreibersii and Tadarida teniotis. Given the lack of reliable evidence on the presence of species of the genus Rhinolophus and Myotis in Cabrera, mentioned by other authors, is excluded from the catalog. Geographical distribution of the different species of bats within this area is provided in the attached maps. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
