Abstract
- The article discusses the court case, Silva v. Lee County, which deals with claims of a violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act by Lee County, Florida through a ban on service animals from visiting a public beach. It explores the ruling by a federal district court on the case, facts of the case and the factors to be considered by the federal district court before terminating a lawsuit as moot to determine whether a challenged conduct will reoccur.
