- Reports that the California Air Resources' (CARB) move to crack down on emissions from sport utility vehicles (SUV) could influence the United States Environmental Protection Agency's next round of clean-air proposals. Reduction of the SUV emissions to passenger car levels; Reaction of the automobile industry to the CARB plan.
