Abstract

The article focuses on the role of culture and language in cognition. It mentions Johann Georg Hamann discussed the relations between language and thought as well as the origins of language, and is of the opinion of reciprocal influence between language and opinions, however, he observes that some writers are more dependent on the language and the opinions it expresses than others.
