Abstract
- Unfortunately, sometimes historical investigations do not have enough supporting material. These circumstances have made that two pictures, one Saint Peter and one Saint Paul, were thought to be a pictorial set only based on the hypothesis by experts in Murillo's painting. Nevertheless, there was not any document which could confirm this theory. This paper contributes the documentary evidence validating that these two portraits were a set. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
