PUBLIC LIBRARIES IN KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA: A CASE STUDY OF DIRECTORATE OF ARCHIVES AND LIBRARIES PESHAWAR.

This article is the study of public libraries in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the light of current resources and policies in the Province. This study identifies the historical development and financial factors which have made the library services available to the public. Public libraries from all over the province including the 14 branch libraries at district level working under Directorate of Archives and Libraries have been covered.
