Abstract

The article reports on the move by the U.S. to toughen its rhetoric against Russia in the Ukraine-Russia war as it offered more weapons to Ukraine. After his visit to Ukraine with Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken, U.S. Defense Secretart Lloyd J. Austin III claimed that the U.S. aims to weaken Russia's military so it cannot attack other states in the future. Also cited is the alleged substantial military losses suffered by Russia during its ongoing invasion.
