Abstract

Hemidystonia, unilateral limb choreoathetosis, unilateral limb tremor, faciobrachial dystonia, and myoclonus have been reported in the literature. Keywords: Rasmussen's encephalitis; Hemichorea; Movement disorder EN Rasmussen's encephalitis Hemichorea Movement disorder 542 545 4 05/13/22 20220501 NES 220501 Movement disorders in Rasmussen's encephalitis (RE) are rarely described. Hyperkinetic movement disorders except myoclonus3 have been rarely described in RE because the more predominant presentation of seizures overshadows subtle movement disorders; however, a thorough understanding of movement disorders in RE is important because these may be the only presentations of a patient with RE.
