The field of communication, in Latin America and the Caribbean, does not have a single path; In this context, the totalizing arguments are always shown to be unnecessary. On the other hand, there are perspectives that point, as alternative or popular communication paths, to practices and experiences of journalism, other perspectives show work experiences both in the state media and in the development of public policies, which can be incorporated as work paths that seek to unite communication and emancipation.
