Abstract

Emotional Intelligence or Emotional Quotient is a concept which is giving its importance in the recent days. It refers to the capability of an individual to understand, express and control his own emotions and to handle interpersonal relationship in a positive manner. This paper is aimed at studying the Emotional intelligence of academicians and their impact on the wellbeing of the students. The sample size is 100. Data has been collected from both the Gender. Academicians with various years of experience has been considered for this study. The researcher has collected data using a standard questionnaire which was constructed and developed by Wong et al., (Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence scale WLEIS).
