Abstract
- Key message: Pulmonary co‐infection with varicella‐zoster virus (VZV) and Pneumocystis jirovecii (PJ) is uncommon. This case describes computed tomography (CT) findings of VZV pneumonia co‐infected with PJ. Co‐infection of VZV and PJ pneumonia is possible in immunocompromised patients. The similarities in chest CT makes it difficult to differentiate VZV from PJ. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
