Abstract

The article presents the discussion on legacy publishers increasing the strategic thinking about OA. Topics include focusing more closely on user access with considerable innovation and imagination; and experimentation reducing the stress of transitioning from pay-to-read to pay-to print and instilling a penchant for innovation over the long term.
