Erratum: "Flux-based modeling of heat and mass transfer in multicomponent systems" [Phys. Fluids 34, 033113 (2022)].

In Ref. [1], there was an error in the second integral of Eq. (14) due to an erroneous application of Eq. (A3) in Appendix A of that paper. Correction of the above error requires consideration of a more general expression for the gradient of the chemical potential HT <math display="inline" overflow="scroll" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><munder accentunder="true"> <mo stretchy="true"></mo></munder><msub> j </msub></mrow></math> ht (obtained from a general equilibrium thermodynamics reference, such as Refs.
