Abstract

Tourism consumption, as the new hot spots and important lifestyles of urban residents in China, has become the new bright spots and growth points of national economic development under the new normal. In order to explore the microscopic tourism consumption behavior of urban residents under the new normal, this paper constructs and interprets the four-dimension⁃ al framework of the normalization of urban residents ’tourism consumption behavior from the two perspectives of tourism consumption characteristics and consumption preferences normalization through a survey of 1 337 urban residents. The four kinds of normalization are embodied in the normalization of tourism consumption market upgrading, tourism consumption market segmentation, consumption temporal and spatial choice and tourism consumption lifestyle. Then, some suggestions are put forward, such as perfecting the tourism public service system, constructing the ecological system of new tourism formats, improving the governance level of tourism market and innovating residents ’tourism consumption mode, etc. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
