Abstract

In recent few decades, exploiting and exploring the quantum world has been drawing more attention. Entanglement, especially, which plays an extraordinary role in quantum world and is regarded as an important recourse in quantum information, has been studied deeply. Mastering the properties of entanglement can promote the development of quantum information. What’s more, discord which is usually regarded as very different quantum correlations with entanglement also has its own significance in quantum information. In this paper, we study entanglement measurement and show a link between entanglement and Tsallis q-discord (0 < q ≤ 1) and reveal that entanglement can be viewed as a special Tsallis q-discord.
