Twisted conjugacy in classical Chevalley groups over certain domains of positive characteristic.

Let F be a subfield of the algebraic closure of a finite field F p of characteristic p ≠ 2 , and let R be any ring such that F [ t ] ⊆ R ⊊ F (t). Let G (R) be a classical Chevalley group of adjoint type defined over R. We prove that the group G (R) has the R ∞ -property. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
