Insulinoma in a Middle-Aged Man Presenting With Hypoglycemia.

A case study is presented of a 55-year-old male who was brought to the emergency department via EMS due to confusion, non- sensical speech, diaphoresis, and a serum glucose level. In order to confirm a hyperfunctioning pancre- atic tumor, a fasting blood glucose measurement was taken, after the dextrose infusion was turned off, his blood glucose decreased, and the findings were consistent with an insulinoma.
