Abstract

This article aims to address some relevant aspects of the study of risk management and vulnerability to the danger of natural disasters as an important content in the conformation of a pedagogical conception that allows the university teacher, in the first place, the construction of knowledge and therefore perception risk in such a way that it is understood and incorporated into the teaching-learning process from different disciplines, so as to generate interest and motivation in students, to learn significantly so that it is contained in all university careers. In addition, it reflects how from a novel and active methodology with the contents of the topic, from the components that intertwine the life of the university student in order to solve problems in a creative way expanding their potentialities as an individual and social being, they can prepare for the management of risks in the face of danger of natural disasters.
