Abstract

In this assay, we discuss how the heterosexual gender norms establish specific practices to the experience of drug-abusive women and to the health care directed to them. We analyze how women are subjected to the condition of object in the health practices, mainly based on biopolitical normalization and organized by medicalization device, which focuses less on hearing of the singularities than on the management of the bodies. We conclude affirming the importance of binding as the relational technology for the increasing of the possibilities for singularities understanding, an important basis for a deeper exploration of the women ways of engaging the world, and for the development of strategies for care and preservation in drug use.
