Abstract
- This article presents results of a qualitative research carried out with high school students from a Public School in the city of Maringá-PR, in order to answer the question: what pedagogical potentials, in the viscosity learning concept, has been revealed by the "Great is water" tale? Therefore, analyzing the contributions of this tale written by Primo Levi to the teaching and learning processes. For this purpose, it was used the tale, questions composed of open questions and an investigative experiment that will configure data collection instruments. The study allowed meaningful discussions regarding the use and contributions of the tale undertaken as a problematic tool for knowledge construction. In the discussions, it is highlighted the importance of methodologies that make reflections about the conceptions of the students on the similarity of concepts like viscosity and density possible. Furthermore, reflections about environmental problems and the concept of viscosity were significant points featured in the research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
