Principales referentes en torno al estudio de la cultura ambiental. Una aproximación al análisis conceptual.

This review article presents the theoretical foundations of environmental culture, based on the main contributions of an educational nature, taking as a starting point the analysis and conceptualization of the subject. To achieve the aforementioned, various scientific texts developed by authors at the international, national and local levels were consulted, which provide elements related to environmental culture and facilitate the understanding of cultural practices related to the environment, in addition, they give meaning to the complex network established between community members and the local environment. Therefore, environmental issues should be focused on promoting a culture in the population focused on reducing and counteracting environmental problems present today, preserving an adequate quality of life in the community.
