- Introduction Takotsubo syndrome (TTS) is a clinical syndrome characterized by an acute and transient left ventricular dysfunction that is always triggered by an emotional or physical stimulation.[1] TTS is often be misdiagnosed as acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
