Abstract

The article reports on a study published in a 2019 issue of "Journal of the American College of Cardiology," which showed that sleeping less than six hours a night regularly could worsen heart-related conditions like high blood pressure and blood sugar levels. According to Brigham and Women's Hospital's Doctor Daniel Gottlieb, the long-term effects of insufficient sleep can be harmful to the cardiovascular system. Also cited are some tips to improve sleep like using tools like smart watch.
