Abstract: While the Epson supports the HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG high dynamic range (HDR) formats, I was disappointed to find that a separate HDR picture mode wasn't automatically triggered when the projector detected an HDR input. With a dedicated HDR picture mode offering adjustments more suitable for HDR playback (such as higher laser output, etc.) like we see on other projectors, the viewer wouldn't have to manually switch to a different picture memory every time they watch HDR content. CONCLUSION Epson's LS12000 4K Pro-UHD laser projector delivers fantastic-looking images.
