Imaginários algorítmicos: reflexões a partir de um estudo de recepção de matriz sociocultural.

This article discusses the types of circumstances and places where individuals involved with two distinct institutions - the church and the syndicate - and algorithms intersect, as well as the implications that these encounters have on people's everyday lives. A key question guides the discussion: "Have you heard about social media and search engine algorithms?". To assist in understanding this questioning, the results found in a study of reception of a sociocultural matrix carried out with 16 people are used as a basis - eight belonging to the Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus and eight to the Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Educação Pública do Paraná. It is argued that algorithms are systems of representation and formers of new cultural patterns of interaction that, from the imagined and decoded point of view, are composed of ideas in which subjects live and experience, respectively, their daily relationships and interactions on digital platforms.
