Abstract

The Electric Vehicle (EV) is turning into a more attractive answer to stay away from petroleum product uses in India. For power driven application for EV, motor drive is used to move the wheels. Due to inefficient deign of buck boost dc-dc converter circuit, the solar based power is underutilized when the battery state of charge (SOC) reaches to its maximum value. To overcome this disadvantage, a novel DC-DC power electronics circuit is proposed with a multiple(two) input for the EV based solar powered application. This research presents detailed working of proposed dual input super boost (DISB) DC-DC converter. In this paper the circuit analysis of all the six modes are presented in details with the operating waveform and mathematical modelling. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
