Abstract

In this paper, we present a Crank-Nicolson leapfrog (CNLF) time stepping decoupled scheme for the fluid-fluid interaction problems. The scheme is based on the modular grad-div stabilized (MGDS) method which is very efficient for the fluid-fluid interaction problems. The algorithm is very simple to implement and retain the benefits of grad-div stabilization. The unconditional stability of the proposed scheme is proven rigorously. Numerical tests are given to verify the efficiency and robustness of the proposed scheme. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
