This paper displays a reflection about autofiction as a literary genre and mourning as an important topic in literature. On the other hand, it shows a study of the novel by Colombian author Paola Caballero Daza Camas gemelas (2020) from a feminist, reparative and affective perspective. In this novel autofiction is a recurring topic. It is concluded that autofiction emerges to deal with an impossible mourning beyond the traditional social framework. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
