Abstract
- The text discusses the problem of the term "educational disadvantage" and argues that this term has no connection to educational theory or educational research. It emphasizes that education is not only synonymous with formal educational qualifications and that the criteria for "educational proximity" and "educational disadvantage" in educational research are questionable. The author also criticizes today's educational research, which often reduces education to competencies and output orientation.
