OBRAZY PODUNAJSKA V CESTOPISNEJ REFLEXII GRÓFA N. M. V. DU PARC LOCMARIU.

The paper is drafted as an analysis and interpretation of a specific French travelogue of the 19th century. The main aim is to analyse work in the first part at the level of genre poetics and clarify its expressive qualities and their origin, in the second part the interpretation will focus on specific content in the form of representation of the Danube landscape and of sailing on the Danube. In the study, we focus on images of topographic objects, such as the town of Komárno, the town of Pressbourg and the Danube and the landscape in its catchment area between the towns of Pest and Pressbourg. In conclusion, we summarize the author's poetics at the divide of the Enlightenment and Romanticism and the most important topographic images involved in the creation of stereotypes. The findings presented in the paper form part of the dissertation research in the field of comparative literature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
