Abstract
- The article features the Report for America's Community News Funds (CNF) program to identify media believers and boost their numbers to create permanent funding to sustain good journalism. Topics discussed include the thrust to evolve the mindset that newspapers are more than commercial operations and to expand their coverage of under-reported communities and issues, and the value of book club events in drawing people. Also noted are insights in launching a CNF in one's community.
