Abstract
- The article presents a reprint of the editorial published in The Plain Dealer and on cleveland.com on August 20, 2022. Topics discussed include the practice of free speech when covering events in America, news agencies' independence from the political process to preserve credibility, and their non-acceptance of discretionary waivers to unacceptable rules. Also noted is the anti-American character of telling the press on who they could interview.
