Abstract

The article reports on the key role to be played by unmarried suburban women swing voters called 'soccer moms' in determining the results of the 2022 U.S. midterm elections. Also cited are the key issues in the elections like the coronavirus pandemic, education, and high crime rates, and the strategies by candidates to appeal to said voters like Democratic senatorial candidate John Fetterman's focus on abortion rights in his race against Republican Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania.
