Abstract

In this work, synthesized Cu nanoparticle structures (CuNPs) with plant extract and without plant extract using pulse laser ablation (PLA). Structural properties of CuNPs were studied using the X-Ray diffraction (XRD) and FE-SEM. From the structural analysis appears all diffraction peaks were indexed to FCC structure. The average crystallite size of Cu NPs was (27 nm) and (39 nm) for sample prepared with and without plant extract respectively. The surface morphology was high homogeneous in shape and size of CuNPs. Evaluated the activity of CuNPs as an antimicrobial by using agar well disc diffusion method. The inhibition zone for sample prepared with plant extract against (Staphylococcus aureus) was 35 mm, and without plant extract (21 mm) after 24 hours of its effect on bacteria.
