Abstract

Radiation applications today are widely encountered, one of which is in the medical field. In working, workers are required to pay attention to the dose that must be considered not to exceed the dose limit value. To monitor the dose, TLD can be used as a radiation dosimeter. However, in practice, it cannot be denied that mistakes can occur in dosimeter use. The study aimed to analyze the effect of the TLD chip position on the dose-response of the 3D printed head phantom. The 3D printed head phantom is printed similarly to the human head in which it is equipped with an artificial brain and artificial Cerebro Spinal Fluid (CSF). This study used TLD-700H. The TLD-700H was irradiated with a 137Cesium irradiator. The error value of Hp(3) dose can be achieved in the range of 1 to 14% against the ideal TLD position and 2 to 18% on the 3D printed head phantom to the ideal TLD position of CIRS CT Dose Phantom.
