Abstract

The adherent filiforme ankyloblepharon (AFA) is a rare benign congenital palpebral abnormality characterized by a partial non-disjunction of the gray lines of eyelids. The case report, it's a newborn that had a fusion of both eyelids, without associated with a syndrome. It's recommended to be treated as early as possible due to its ambylogenic potential, the case was managed with surgical treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
