DISTINGUISHING BETWEEN MALIGNANT AND BENIGN RENAL MASSES.

The article discusses the difficulty of distinguishing between malignant and benign renal masses. Topics include treatment of most patients who receive a diagnosis of a renal mass, traditional diagnostic approaches to the management of small renal masses without renal mass biopsy and with renal mass biopsy, and biopsy-based approach with peak early-phase enhancement ratio (PEER).
