Abstract

Image shows concertina'd bowel with typical appearance of intussusception. gl Retrograde gastro-jejunal intussusception is a rare complication post gastric surgery, with an incidence estimated at about 0.1%. Image shows distended stomach containing intussuscepted bowel pre-reduction. gl GLO:HWR/01nov22:ans17561-fig-0003.jpg PHOTO (COLOR): 3 Retrograde gastrojejunal intussusception was confirmed after reducing approximately 80 cm of ischaemic small bowel contained within the stomach. We present a rare case of recurrent retrograde gastrojejunal intussusception post gastric bypass with a failure of non-revisional management. [Extracted from the article]
