Abstract

Nowadays the automobile industry is prosperous with the evolution of Electric Vehicle (EV). Battery charging is more concern for the development of electric vehicle. In the distribution system this proposes a communication free charging controller is used in this proposed work, using this controller to find the battery is getting charging or discharging during sunshine. In charging station while using solar energy sometimes of power quality issues will occur and we can rectify that power quality issues in electric vehicle. SEPIC (Single Ended Primary Inductor Converter) converter as well as Bidirectional DC-DC converter used to able of charging the EV battery in sunshine and non sunshine hours. The performances of the proposed method are evaluated through simulations using MATLAB/ simulink software. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
