On the basis of searching a large number of literatures, this paper systematically classifies ambient temperaes asphalt mixes from the aspects of material composition and strength formation mechanism; the influencing factors and research progress of various ambient temperature asphalt mixes are introduced; finally, comprehensively compare the performance and characteristics of various ambient temperature asphalt mixes, and put forward prospects for the next research, in order to provide help for engineers to reasonably design ambient temperature asphalt mixes and promote the innovative development of green roads.
