The article presents a Community Intervention Plan (CIP) for the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Spain. The CIP aims to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of COPD through collaboration between community pharmacies and health centers. The plan includes a standardized work procedure that describes the actions to be taken by community pharmacists, such as population screening for COPD and disease evaluation. It also proposes to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention and establish a training plan on COPD.
