Abstract

Endoscopic full-thickness resection (eFTR) for colorectal lesions has recently become a more widely performed procedure [[1], [3]] Typical indications for eFTR are: (1) non-lifting lesion because of severe fibrosis or deep submucosal invasion; (2) repeat treatment because of previous incomplete resection or residual cancer after endoscopic resection; and (3) submucosal tumor. Lesions with these characteristics are difficult to resect by conventional endoscopic mucosal resection or endoscopic submucosal dissection techniques. Endoscopic full-thickness resection for complex colorectal lesions - what's the next step?. [Extracted from the article]
