Práticas de Tecnologia da Informação Verde em Instituições de Ensino Superior: Uma revisão sistemática.

The main objective of the study is to identify the Green Information Technology practices that have been adopted in University education institutions. In addition to the practices, the difficulties and benefits perceived in their implementation process were listed. A systematic review of the literature published between 2015 and 2020 was carried out in the databases of the Capes Periodicals Portal and the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, and 7 studies were selected for analysis. The most recurrent Green IT practices are focused on waste management, with proper disposal and recycling of electronic waste. Among the difficulties faced, the lack of knowledge and engagement about sustainability and Green IT stands out. Among the perceived benefits, environmental and financial gains stand out, related to energy savings, reduction of CO² emission in the atmosphere, and reduction of costs with IT acquisition.
