Scientific Futures.

An editorial is presented on shaping and developing nursing science. Topics include created by the lack of discussion opportunities, scientific work progressing slowed, and ideas for moving forward in those areas important to the profession; and research important to the practice of nursing, the primary goal of nursing science necessary in achieving the mission of improving health and well-being.
