Abstract

The article presents various questions and answers related to immigration. If someone fails a second round of U.S. immigration interview, can he divorce and marry another woman immediately to avoid deportation. In this case, the burden will be to prove the officers at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services that the marriage was for good faith and not for immigration purposes. One should never enter a fraudulent marriage because U.S. immigration officials look sternly on marriages entered into only for immigration benefits.
